Why stay at our Motel?

We have standard and refurbished Executive rooms,  a disabled room and a family Suite, 19 in total. All rooms have free Austar T.V.and are very comfortable and spotlessly clean with minibars in each room, all at competitive rates.

We have a licensed guests Lounge / Bar / Restaurant, ( drinks at pub prices ) with a large screen LCD TV and a pool table, use of which is complimentary to in house guests.

All rooms have split system air conditioning / heating for quietness of operation. We have a small but select menu of "Home cooked style" meals/desserts, available from Sunday to Thursday nights, served in room or in the Restaurant and we do breakfasts 7 mornings in room or Restaurant as well.

There are many reasons to stay a night or a month at Ararat, to mention just a few: 

Chalambar Golf / Bowling Club ( just around the corner ) is rated in the top 30 courses in Victoria and we can offer you special deals with them;

• There are more than 30 wineries in the immediate area including Bests, Seppelts, Mt Langi Giran, Montara, Grampians Estate, etc...;
• Gum San Chinese Heritage centre  ( Chinese discovered Gold in Ararat over 150 years ago );
• J. Ward gaol, now closed for for nearly 20 years, once was Victorias most notorious gaol, home to the criminally insane, tours every day, it now hosts the famous Jailhouse rock weekend fesival, thousands attend Ararat for this special annual event for  the dance competitions, the Vintage car, motorbike and truck shows;
• Ararat is only 20 minutes from Stawell, ( the famous Easter Stawell Gift )
• And is only about 25 mins from Halls Gap ( The Grampians ), or the Pyrenees Ranges ( more wineries )
